Thank you so very much.
We have been so blessed by the generosity of others.  We are
at a point where we have no financial need for Owen's future
expenses because of how much we have already been given.

At this point, I am trying to raise money for a cure.  There is a
geneticist at the University of North Carolina, Dr. Joseph
Muenzer.  Dr. Muenzer is actively trying to find a cure for
Hunter's Syndrome and he is not that far from doing so.  He
has a mouse model and is working with AAV Gene Therapy,
which according to all the experts in the MPS world, will be the
cure, this gene therapy.

I still will be organizing fundraisers in the next couple of
months where all proceeds will go to Dr. Muenzer and his
research.  He hopes to have human clinical trials in the next
couple of years.  We feel that the disease will not ravage
Owen's body if there is a cure this decade.  We feel that Owen
is benefiting so much from his Enzyme Replacement Therapy
(ERT) and biding time while Dr. Muenzer works to find the cure.

We are asking those who feel moved to help out our family
and Owen to give directly to Dr. Muenzer instead of us.  You
can make a donation online, or read more about The NC
Children's Promise,
here.  Just make sure you designate your
gift to the
Pediatric Genetics/MPS fund so that it gets
directly to Dr. Muenzer and his work.

In addition, donations can be made "offline" so to speak.
